Help Support Our Family

For several years, Mishpachteinu has been a beacon of hope, a haven of comfort, and a nurturing environment for countless single mothers. But today, our organization faces an urgent and serious challenge. We are on the brink of losing our 'nerve center,' the apartment that has served as our operational hub and the venue for our cherished weekly Shabbos meals.

When we revealed the news to our regulars, it was met with disbelief and despair. The Shabbos meals they have relied on are not just about food; they are their lifeline, their source of resilience, their sanctuary from isolation and despair. To them, and to us, the thought of shutting our doors is unimaginable.

However, adversity can inspire innovation. In response to this crisis, we have developed a visionary plan: we aim to re-establish Mishpachteinu in the Monsey area, upstate, with the purchase of a spacious home that will serve as a home away from home for these single mothers, not just on Shabbos but all week long. We envision a serene retreat where up to forty women can gather each week for meals, courses, exercise classes, and more, fostering a nurturing, empowering environment where they can recharge, learn new skills, and feel valued and respected.

But we can't realize this dream without you. The future of Mishpachteinu and the wellbeing of the women and children we serve depends on your generosity. We are committed to doing whatever it takes to keep this mission alive, but we need your support. Let's come together as a community to ensure that these women and their children continue to have a place where they can find the companionship, compassion, and empowerment they need. Stand with us. Stand with them. Your contribution today can secure a brighter future for Mishpachteinu. Join us in this mission.
